Our first Freedom School Online episode: Kwasi Boyd-Bouldin, an acclaimed photographer. Named one of Time Magazine's top 12 African American photographers to follow, Kwasi Boyd-Bouldin is best known for his photo essays of urban environments and the evolving landscapes of places that hold significance for him and his community.

In honor of Black Music Month on June 24, banjoist and educator Hannah Mayree (she/her/they/them) joins Freedom School Online's Summer School to teach the masses about her approaches to reclaiming the Black history behind the banjo within Americana/Folk music.

To commemorate Black August, Freedom School Online is bringing the incredible Dr. Shamell Bell, an Emmy-nominated producer, professor, activist, and scholar, to lead an interactive workshop on how somatic visualization can help YOU imagine freedom for yourself and your community.
